We had a successful trip from Tucson to Huntington Beach. We got a late start on Sunday, around four pm. I am happy to report we didn't stop for four hours till Yuma. Shelby may have gone potty eight times. She loves small bathrooms. We decided to keep going as the rubber on the tires were slowly melting because of the heat. We gave the new rv a good workout on the hills prior to San Deigo but the engine temp stayed constant and only slowed to thirty five once. Although I think I may have gas leaking out of the tank during uphills because gas gauge seemed go to move quickly. We pulled in to Barbi's house at one thirty in the am. Boy were they surprised in the morning, we probably should have called. As you can see by the picture their drive way is almost the perfect size for our rv, leading me to think that we were mean to stay here for our three week vacation. Barbi thought it was a great idea till she remembered something in the CCRs that only allows Rvs in front the house for three days. Too bad. We are spending the days playing and working ok some of the finishing touches on the Rv. We will post pictures on the inside when it is all completed.
